We are a Swim 21 Accredited Swimming Club

Affiliated to the A.S.A. Y.A.S.A. and the Royal Life Saving Society
Scarborough Swimming Club is the longest established Club in the Scarborough area, based in North Yorkshire. We are Swim 21 accredited and offer swimming courses for all levels. All our teachers are qualified through the ASA. Learn to swim starts in the small pool from 4 ½ years of age. Stroke technique continues in the large pool with width classes, eventually leading to length classes and then squad training. Your child will progress at their own pace and make many friends whilst enjoying a fun and healthy sport. If your child wants to become a National, County or Regional Champion or just enjoy swimming at club level we have the programme to suit and help them achieve their maximum potential.

2012 Membership Fees

The 2012 memberships fees are for the season January 1st to September 30th.
New fees and membership will start on 1st October 2012 until 30th September 2013.

All SSC members must complete an entry form, electronically or manually, if they want to compete.
Forms will be available from 17th Nov on club nights.

A & B Gala Entries 2012

As usual in January entries are now coming in thick and fast for this very popular gala. As it is Level 4 Licenced there are limits on the length of each session.
All sessions are now half full; if clubs are intending to bring significant numbers of swimmers they are urged to email their entries in at the earliest opportunity

Badge Night

We are having a badge night on Tuesday 14th February. The swims take place between 5pm and 6pm. All swimmers are welcome to come along and have a go.
Certificates and Badges will be awarded.

Presentation Photos

This January saw the annual presentation afternoon take place, where the trophies and medals from the club championships where presented. A couple of photos from the event have now been added to the gallery page.
